“WOW!”
Wow. All we can say is, "Wow!" What an amazing trip. It was fun, educational, appropriately challenging. The guides were funny, professional and warm. The text message on my phone indicating pick up time and place was very reassuring. They were exact in the pickup time, and really accommodated my family (including twin 7-year olds). They provide a unique and truly enjoyable experience, and have helped to create the memory of a lifetime.
“A TOUR WE WILL NEVER FORGET!”
Hola! We just wanted to send a big thank you message to Kayaking Puerto Rico! We did your Aquafari Culebra on the 10th October 2009 and it was the best experience we have ever had! Our tour guide Alvin was wonderful, he explained everything so clearly and obviously loved doing his job just as much as we loved being on the tour. We loved how he actually got in the water and helped us find different kinds of sea life. We just want to say thank you to him, he helped make our tour one that we will never forget! We will definitely be recommending KPR to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. Well Done guys!
“BEST TOUR EVER!”
We went on several tours while we were in Puerto Rico last week, and this was by far the most fun. It wasn't very expensive and the snorkeling was frickin awesome! The two tour guides that led us were very friendly and fun, and even took underwater photos for us, which they emailed a couple days later. The scenery was breathtaking, absolutely beautiful crystal clear blue water filled with coral reefs and brightly colored fish, beautiful remote islands with white sand, and the boat was a lot of fun too! Definitely do this if you're going to Puerto Rico; it wasn't too far of a drive from San Juan.
“Don't Miss the Bio Bay Tour!”
Kayaking Puerto Rico is a professional, top-notch tour operator. They were on time; the vehicles and kayaking equipment were modern, safe, and well maintained. The guides were informative, detail-oriented, and thorough both in the orientation and the trip itself. The Bio Bay tour is outstanding and is a great value, especially in these times. We're very well traveled and have seen many things around the world, but this is truly unique in the experience and the activity. The plankton (they are NOT algae or bacteria) is a site not to be missed. The paddle through the mangrove forest is fascinating, especially at twilight. Be sure to also keep an eye out for the turtles, feeding fish, and other cool wildlife from the kayaks! There are two tours per evening, and we would recommend the tour at 6:45 because you see so much in the mangrove forest at dusk that is not to be missed. It is completely dark by 7:00 when you arrive at the lagoon; so don't worry about failing to see the bioluminescence. The guides were outstanding and very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna. For those who were interested, it was like being on the Discovery Channel: the guides could answer all questions down to the scientific details about the biological process related to the bioluminescence and their role in the ecosystem. There are only 5 locations in the entire world with such a high concentration of bioluminescence and Puerto Rico is fortunate to be home to 3 of them. For those interested in the scientific process, you will learn a lot. For those just interested in a cool experience for families or couples, this is also for you. Just make reservations in advance because the tours were completely full.
“Our kids can’t stop talking about it!”
We want to thank Percy and KPR for such wonderful and unique experience that our whole family will always remember. Our two young sons (ages 7 and 9) can't stop talking about everything they saw and learned that day. Not only did we never question our boy's safety during the experience (which was our initial hesitation), we never could have imagined that such a small and intimate guided tour could be so affordable, educational and enjoyable way to explore Puerto Rico! Easily a five star experience.
“An unforgettable experience thanks to our guide Anthony!”
I went to Puerto Rico earlier this month with my friend and cousin for our summer vacation, and let me just say that KAYAKING PUERTO RICO IS AWESOME! We had such a blast with the tour guides and our group! We made new friends and learned some pretty cool interesting things. Our tour guide Anthony was AMAZING, to say the least. He was super nice, answered all of our questions and gave us an experience we will always remember. This was our first time kayaking and thanks to Anthony we were able to enjoy every second of it! I will most definitely do this again on my next trip to Puerto Rico! Oh and did I already mention that Anthony was the COOLEST!
“BEST PART OF OUR TRIP!”
Hey Percy, thanks for the great pictures!! We had a fantastic time on our kayak trip. You guys did a great job of making Keirsten’s birthday memorable. We were all impressed by your knowledge and by the way you spent so much time with us making sure we had fun. The special attention you gave us was exceptional and it was the best part of our trip to Puerto Rico.
If you’re ever in Connecticut, look us up!
“The HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Puerto Rico!”
Kayaking and snorkeling with Kayaking Puerto Rico in Fajardo was the highlight of our trip to the island. Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. We felt it was a better experience than getting on a big boat (which we've done before) and having them drop you off at a snorkeling site. When we went there were no other boats or kayaks, it was so peaceful like we had the whole ocean to ourselves. We loved the speech about the Taino Indians and getting our bodies painted with the rocks was really fun. Many thanks for making this, such a great experience.
“Kayaking Puerto Rico tours and guides are great!”
We did the BioBay tour and Aquafari Culebra march 2010. KPR guides are great!!---friendly, knowledgeable and safety conscious. Both trips were among the best I have ever taken---and I have done dozens of excursions all over the Caribbean. Choose Kayaking Puerto Rico above all others.
“Great trip, excellent guides!”
This was the first thing we did after arriving in Puerto Rico, and I have to say, it was AWESOME! The guides were well prepared and incredibly knowledgeable. They also brought entertainment and humor to the entire trip, and seemed genuinely interested in what they were doing. The trip itself was unlike anything I've ever done. We kayaked through a thin channel covered by mangrove trees to get the bay itself, and along the way the guides pointed out wildlife and helped us make our way through the dark evening. Once we got into the bay, though, the night sky was beautiful, and the water itself was incredible! I can't describe how amazing it is when you put your hand or paddle in the water and watch it light up. Very cool trip, and an incredible memory!
“Fabulous, friendly and well-organized!”
My friend and I booked a tour with this company, and we are so glad that we did. We were both very impressed with the organization of the tour: they got 24 mix-skilled people in and out of kayaks, through completely dark mangrove channels, and out into the magnificent lagoon, all the while providing friendly support and fascinating biology lectures. It is well worth the trip to book a tour with such a well-run organization.
“FABULOUS staff and amazing experience!”
We were so impressed by how professional and knowledgeable our guides were. Unlike other experiences I have, these guides really wanted to interact with you and get to know you in your brief time spent with them. We really appreciated that our trip leader walked us back to our hotel (El Conquistador) being that it was really late at night and very dark. If you are staying in Fajardo, this is a fabulous value...don't go through the hotel, these guys do a wonderful job for half the price!
“The Guides Made the Experience!”
Kayaking thru mangroves to the bioluminescent lagoon is a great way to spend an evening when visiting Puerto Rico. But what made the experience special was the highly organized, safety-minded guides that clearly loved what they were doing and were very eager to share their knowledge. Plus Percy, the owner, went well out of his way to help us with other parts of our vacation that had nothing to do with his services - a real gentleman and true hospitality professional. Thank you!
