Driving instructions From Metro San Juan & Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort

All right “amigos”, before we start driving, a quick Spanish 101 lesson that will help you with the road signs along the way. In Spanish, “Este” = East, “Oeste” = West, “Norte” = North, and “Sur” = South. Great, now we are ready!
Take Route #26 to #66 going East “Este” ($1.50 toll booth charge)
At the end of #66, you will pass a large shopping center on your right; turn right at the intersection continuing east on highway #3.
Proceed for 15 miles until you begin to approach the municipality of Fajardo. Look for a shopping center on the left (Eastern Plaza) with a Video Ave. and a McDonalds on the corner and turn left at the traffic light onto Rd. 194.
Go straight on Rd. #194 for 1.2 miles and turn left into "El Conquistador Avenue" immediately after passing the Burger King on your left. Follow the road for 0.8 miles and turn right on the "small white church" to stay on "El Conquistador Avenue" (You will see the signs).
Follow the Avenue all the way until the end. At the end turn left onto Rd. #987.
Continue on Rd. #987 for 2 miles (Make sure to stay to your left when the road splits between #987, and #9987 which goes up a hill) and you will enter Las Croabas Public Park (there are no gates). You can park in the available parking lot (which is free).
As soon as you enter the park, look for Kayaking Puerto Rico on your left hand side, all of our equipment will be clearly identified with our KPR logo and we will be wearing red shirts.

Take Expressway #53 going North, passing three toll booths.
After the third toll booth, continue 2.4 miles to the first traffic light / intersection and take a right on to #194.
Road #194 merges into Road #987. Follow the road until you reach a stoplight.
Continue straight passing the stoplight. After the stoplight continue straight for 2.5 miles, passing the entrance to El Conquistador Resort on your right.
Continue on Rd. #987 for 2 miles (Make sure to stay to your left when the road splits between #987, and #9987 which goes up a hill) and you will enter Las Croabas Public Park (there are no gates). You can park in the available parking lot (which is free).
