Meals and Snacks

We provide light snacks on our kayaking trips, including Island-grown, fresh tropical fruits, snacks and cold beverages. If you have a particular snack food that you enjoy, or are the type of person who needs to snack regularly while active, you are welcome to bring your own snacks, etc.

Round Trip Transportation available

KPR can provide round trip transportation for groups originating from all metro San Juan area hotels, as well as locations throughout the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico. Group rates are available.

Join us for two and a half hours of fun, easy, kayaking and snorkeling at famous Seven Seas Bay in Fajardo. Kayak along the pristine coastline of "Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve" and enjoy the spectacular views of El Yunque Rainforest mountains and Fajardo's 130 year old Spanish lighthouse.

Discover spectacular coral reef formations, swim among schools of tropical fish, and learn about the wonders of the underwater world, while snorkeling with our professional eco guides.

The snorkeling is followed by a relaxing stop at one of the bays unspoiled beaches locally known as Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach). Once at the beach, enjoy a variety of snacks and refreshments, hike around while beachcombing, lay out in the tropical sun, swim the crystal clear waters or simply sit back and enjoy the pristine hidden coastline of Seven Seas Bay.

Round trip transportation available for this trip. (Transportation runs for an additional fee of $20.00 pp.)

Aquafari

Perfect for school groups of all ages. Our trained KPR guides will share their knowledge of Seven Seas’ amazing coastal eco-systems, featuring tidal pools, mangrove forests, lagoons and the incredible wildlife and aquatic birds that inhabit the Nature Reserve.

Kayaking Puerto Rico has teamed up with Fine Line Excursions to offer you the opportunity to kayak Puerto Rico's northeastern coastline, snorkel our underwater gardens, and hike our stunningly beautiful Rainforest - ALL IN ONE DAY!

This combo includes our most popular Kayak/Snorkel tour "Aquafari" followed by a guided hike through Puerto Rico's Rain Forrest "El Yunque".

For this Reef & Rain Forest Combo Tour, Kayaking Puerto Rico will provide the Reef (Aquafari Seven Seas) portion of the excursion, and Fine Line Excursions will provide round trip transportation and the Rainforest portion.

Rainforest Hiking Tour Description

We start off at “El Portal Visitor Center”, known as “The Gateway to the Forest” which features a short informative film about the forest, we shall stop at “La Coca Falls” also known as “The Fountain of Youth” by Juan Ponce de Leon, and enjoy a 360 view of the forest at the “Yocahu” Observation tower. This Hiking Tour Explores two different trails and hike through three different levels of the forest. We follow the “La Mina” river making it’s way to the falls. Next up is the “Big Tree” with towering trees dating back 300 years!

The hike to La Mina Falls is .7miles downhill and .7miles uphill, a total of 1.4 miles. The hike to La Mina is considered moderate to strenuous; therefore, guests should be in good physical health.

Lunch Stop – Puerto Rican Style

After the Rainforest Hiking tour through “El Yunque” National Forest we will board the bus descending from the mountains, and head for a delicious dinner featuring authentic Puerto Rican style cooking at Don Esteban Restaurant in Fajardo, Puerto Rico!

Average cost $10 to 12 per person

For your entrée you will have the choice of chicken, fish, steak or pork to go along with rice and beans, plantains, green salad and soft drink. Vegetarian meal option is available. Your tour guide will ask for the food order on the day of the tour.

Our Reef & Rainforest Combo was specially created for those guests looking to get the most out of their vacation! Visitors with limited amount of days to explore the Island will find this excursion, not only time manageable, but fun and affordable.

Note: Cost for the Reef & Rainforest Excursion is $105 per person ($45 pp plus tax for the Aquafari Seven Seas tour, and $60 pp for the Rainforest “El Yunque” Tour and Transportation). Each operator will charge guests separately: Kayaking Puerto Rico for the Aquafari Seven Seas tour, and Fine Line Excursions for the Rainforest Tour and Transportation.
